Marking Vijay Deverakonda’s Bollywood debut, Liger directed by Puri Jagannadh is one of the most anticipated movies of the upcoming year. Also starring young star Ananya Panday, now makers have raised the bar by making a brand new announcement. The makers have now announced roping in iconic world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson. Unveiling a video announcing the same, movie lead Vijay seems all excited. He shared in his tweet like they promised they have got madness to this pan-Indian film by roping the iconic champion.

Going the video and as per reports makers plan to showcase a war between the two on-screen. Vijay Deveraonda tweeted, “We promised you Madness! We are just getting started :) For the first time on Indian Screens. Joining our mass spectacle - #LIGER The Baddest Man on the Planet The God of BoxingThe Legend, the Beast, the Greatest of all Time! IRON MIKE TYSON#NamasteTYSON” The announcement is made just a day ahead of the movie director Puri Jagannadh’s birthday. He will be celebrating his birthday on September 28, 2021.

The movie is co-produced by Karan Johar’s production banner Dharma Productions and Puri Connects, headed by Puri Jagannath and Charmme Kaur. The movie will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
